We recently completed the installation of a 40m² open steel grate mezzanine floor at a Musgrave facility in Cork, providing a safe and practical elevated work platform within the existing warehouse.

The platform was designed with a finished floor level of 3,400mm, creating additional working space while making the best use of the available height. An open steel grate floor was specified to provide a durable, hard-wearing surface that is well suited to industrial environments and allows light and air to pass through the structure.

To ensure safe and comfortable access, the installation included a 900mm wide utility staircase complete with a top landing and handrail.  The finished platform integrates seamlessly into the existing workspace, providing a robust and reliable solution that supports the client’s day-to-day operations while making more efficient use of their warehouse space.
