Narrow aisle pallet racking is designed to maximise warehouse storage capacity by making the most of both available floor space and building height. By reducing the width of operating aisles, businesses can significantly increase the number of pallet locations while maintaining direct access to every pallet.
The system is specifically designed for use with specialised narrow aisle forklift trucks, allowing aisles to be considerably narrower than those required for conventional pallet racking. This enables more racking and fewer access aisles, resulting in greater storage density without compromising stock accessibility.
To maximise vertical storage, narrow aisle pallet racking can be installed to greater heights and is operated using man-up or man-down articulated or turret trucks. Guide rails or wire guidance systems are fitted at floor level to accurately position forklift trucks within the aisles, improving safety, reducing accidental damage to racking and increasing handling efficiency.
